Teen Dream

Teen Dream were an R&B girl group from Columbus, Ohio that consisted of Terri (born Terri Whitlow), Lisa and Nikki.
In 1987, the group released their first album "Let's Get Busy" on Warner Bros. Records which didn't appear to make the charts. Their album was produced by Chris "The Mentor" Powell.
The first single "Let's Get Busy" peaked at #41 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for 10 weeks.
The second single "Slip-Slide" managed to peak at #21 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music\Club Play chart.
The last single from the album "Toy" peaked at #78 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for only 5 weeks.
In 1989, Teen Dream released their last album "Games" on Muscle Shoals Sound Records which also didn't appear to make the charts at all.

By that time, there was only one member from the original line-up remaining. The title song peaked at a disappointing #90 on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart, staying on the chart for just 4 weeks.

After that, it seemed as if Teen Dream faded into obscurity.

According to the Isle of Deserted Pop Stars in 2009, former lead singer, Terri was currently recording a solo album for Warner Bros. Records, but nothing much has been heard about the album since.
