As a child, Cyré wrote poetry, short stories & songs. She decided to forgo an all-arts education and got her university degree from Marymount College in the sciences with a concentration on psychology and biology.
Cyré enrolled at the Mozartina in Tarrytown, studing voice & music theory. After graduating, she turned down an invitation to continue in a Master's PhD. program from a prominent university to join a chart-topping R&B group on tour in France.
After the group broke up, she joined other various groups while developing her abilities in the recording studio in R&B and pop music. She also performed in small jazz venues in New York City and was eventually offered a record deal.
Since then, Cyré's music has been heard films distributed by 20th Century Fox, Paramount, and Orion Pictures. She has performed live and on national television in the U.S., France, Italy & Holland and even toured for 3 months in Israel.
Cyré represented the United States in International Song Festivals in Havana, Cuba and the Dominican Republic.
She was invited to perform by the Pentagon for the September 11th Americas Heroes tribute in Washington, D.C., sharing the stage with Roberta Flack, Muhammed Ali, and Randy Travis. She has performed concerts in Puerto Rico, Hawaii and at the Beacon Theatre opening for Spain's Azucar Moreno.
Cyré has hosted the Channel 7 ABC-tv show, "New York Hot Tracks" with former 92-KTU musical director, Carlos De Jesus. She is also recognized for her appearances on Spanish television as well. She was the co-producer and musical director for CBS channel 2's Fall 2004 season, "The Nueva\Estrella New Star" awards.
Cyré is also a screenwriter, currently involved in the development of a feature film about legendary Cuban songstress, La Lupe and a spiritual sci-fi film, "Strangelove." She is also working in the studio on a new album that is yet to be released.
