Blu (born Byron Mitchell in Los Angeles, California) was a male R&B singer from the 90s. He graduated from Taft High School in 1987. 
In 1995, Blu released his debut album, "Out of the Blu" on Motown Records. It's unknown how or if the album ever charted. 
After that, it seemed as if Blu had faded into obscurity. These days, Blu still resides in Los Angeles, is married and works for MasterMydent.

That is an incredible album with that Tony Toni Tone sound. Should have been a BIG hit!
